Please note, a 24-hour cooldown period will be applied to each new address upon adding them, if your address book is enforced, for extra security.
Why is there a cooldown period?
The cooldown period of 24 hours only applies when the address book is enforced. If you turn on the restriction, withdrawals will only be allowed to addresses that have been in your address book for at least 24 hours. Any new address added after the restriction is turned on will also be subject to this 24-hour waiting period before it becomes eligible for withdrawals.
This helps prevent immediate withdrawals to newly added addresses and adds an extra layer of protection for your crypto.
There is no cooldown period for simply adding or removing addresses if the restriction is not enforced.
Will I be able to send crypto to an address not in my address book?
Once you have the address book enforced, you will not be able to withdraw to an address that is not in your address book.
To withdraw to a new address, you will have to either disable the enforcement of the address book or add the new address to your address book.
Crypto withdrawals will be subject to a 24 hour cooldown period once the address book is disabled.
