Logging in to your Shakepay account
You will need to follow these steps to log in your Shakepay account:
Open the Shakepay app.
Enter your Shaketag, email or phone number associated with the account.
Enter your password - if you are using a passkey, scan the QR code or use your external security key.
Enter the SMS code sent your mobile device, or enter the one-time passcode in your Authenticator.
Unlocking Shakepay with a pin
If you need to unlock your Shakepay app and it's asking for a pin, follow these steps:
Tap on the Shakepay app to open.
Enter your phone's security pin/code. This will be the same code you use to unlock your phone.
Unlocking Shakepay with fingerprint or faceID
If you need to unlock your Shakepay app and it's asking for Fingerprint or FaceID, follow these steps:
Tap on the Shakepay app to open.
Hold the phone to your face to unlock with FaceID, or push down on the fingerprint sensor on your phone when prompted.
Logging out of your Shakepay account
You will need to follow these steps to log out of your Shakepay account:
Open the Shakepay app.
Tap Settings on the bottom right of your screen from the homepage.
Scroll down to Log Out.
Tap This Device Only if you wish to log out from your current device, or All My Devices if you wish to log out of any devices that may be logged into your Shakepay account.
Add and switch between a personal and business account
If you have both a personal and a business account, you can easily link them and switch between them without logging out each time.
To link an additional account:
Open the Shakepay app while logged into either account.
Tap Settings (bottom right of the home screen).
Select Link an account.
Enter the details for your secondary account (personal or business), then tap Add account.
Complete the login security step (password, 2FA, or passkey).
Once linked, you can switch between accounts anytime from the Settings page. Just tap Switch account no need to log in again.
