What is bitcoin-only mode?
Bitcoin-only mode hides all other coins and limits buying & selling to bitcoin – it’s all bitcoin, all the time. This mode is for bitcoin enthusiasts who only want to see and exchange bitcoin, and only shows BTC and CAD balances.
How can I activate bitcoin-only mode?
Go to Settings > Account settings > Display & language > Crypto display, then toggle bitcoin-only mode on.
I tried turning on bitcoin-only mode but got an error. Why?
Bitcoin-only mode is available for accounts without ETH or USD balances. If you got the error message, it is because you currently have a balance in one or both of those assets.
What happens if I deposit ETH or USD while in bitcoin-only mode?
The deposit is received and confirmed with a push and email notification.
ETH and USD balances remain hidden until Bitcoin-only mode is turned off.
Bitcoin-only mode is not automatically turned off by the deposit.
What happens if someone sends me ETH or USD while I’m in bitcoin-only mode?
The transfer is received and confirmed with a push and email notification.

Why is the bitcoin balance and price shown twice on the home screen?
The chart graphic and balance at the top provides a large, visual view of your holdings and the market price. The account row underneath contains your holdings but in the same familiar place.
Can I use Shakepay Card, Roundup, and Shakesquad with bitcoin-only mode activated?
Yes! These features still work normally. The mode just hides some assets from view.
