Cryptocurrency transactions are irreversible
Please remember that cryptocurrency transactions are irreversible. Once a transaction is completed, Shakepay cannot reverse or access it on your behalf. Due to the decentralized nature of blockchain technology, transactions cannot be retrieved or reversed once they are processed. Additionally, Shakepay only supports specific transaction networks, such as Ethereum (ETH/ERC-20). Transactions using unsupported networks will fail to reach your Shakepay wallet and cannot be recovered. For example, transactions from Hyperliquid to a Shakepay wallet are incompatible.
Please see our other FAQs for more information on types of scams and how to spot phishing attempts. Additionally, Shakepay's blog offers resources to help you identify common scams, such as fake investment websites, romance scams, and impersonation by "recovery agents" or brokers. Educating yourself on these tactics can help you avoid future scams.
