How do I fund my card?
The Shakepay Visa* Prepaid Card allows you to spend funds directly from your Shakepay Canadian dollar balance.
Top up your balance by funding your Shakepay account by sending an Interac e-Transfer! You’ll then be able to use the card for your spending. Please note, you can only fund your Shakepay account from a Canadian bank account.
Why does my Shakepay Card balance say $0.00 after depositing CAD to my Shakepay account?
Although adding Canadian dollars is typically instant, sometimes there is a delay in this process. If you have attempted to top up your account, please wait 1 hour to see the balance reflected in your Shakepay account. If after 1 hour it is still not there, reach out to support to have this resolved.
