Yes, refunds are possible with the Shakepay Card.
Card refunds are dependent on the merchant’s return policy and generally require proof of purchase. We recommend contacting the merchant for details on how to return a product or to determine whether or not you qualify for a refund.
If you are waiting for a refund to be credited to your account:
Before we can credit your account we need to wait for the merchant to confirm to us that your purchase was reverted. Once the merchant sends us confirmation, we will be able to process the refund.
Keep in mind that the timeframe to receive your refund is at the merchant’s discretion and Shakepay does not have control of when you will receive your funds. Most refunds get resolved within 1-2 weeks but it can take up to 30 days in some cases. If you have waited longer than 30 days, please contact the merchant for more information.
Rest assured if you don't get the refund processed in this 30 day delay, we will help you dispute the transaction if necessary to get you this refund.
I have a receipt for my refund but my refund has not been credited!
Even if you have a receipt for your refund, we still need to wait for the merchant to confirm to us that your purchase was reverted. Once the merchant sends us confirmation, we will be able to process the refund. Most refunds get resolved within 1-2 weeks but it can take up to 30 days in some cases. If you have waited longer than 30 days, please contact the merchant for more information. We cannot accelerate this process as we need the merchant's bank to confirm the refund to our bank.
