How do I move up to Bright or Blue?
Your status is based on your activity each calendar month.
To earn:
Bright:
Exchange $100+ OR receive $200+ in eligible direct deposits.Blue:
Exchange $1,000+ OR receive $2,000+ in eligible direct deposits.
Your status updates automatically when you reach the requirements.
Does my status reset each month?
Yes. Status is evaluated on a month-to-month basis.
If you don’t meet the requirements for Bright or Blue in a new month, you move back to Base for the following month.
When does my status activate, and how long does it last?
Your status updates as soon as you meet the monthly requirement.
Once you qualify, your new status is active:
Immediately for the rest of the current month, and
For the entire following month.
Example
If you qualify for Bright or Blue on December 12, your benefits begin right away and continue through the rest of December and all of January.
This applies no matter which day of the month you qualify—early or late.
What happens after that?
Your status for the next month (February in this example) depends on whether you meet the qualification requirements again in January.
To keep your status into February without any lapse, you would either:
Qualify again at any time in January, or
Make a qualifying direct deposit or exchange on February 1st
How do ShakingSats rewards work with statuses?
The maximum sats per shake now depends on your status:
Base: 10 sats/day
Bright: Up to 100 sats/day
Blue: Up to 500 sats/day
The value still grows with your shake streak, but the cap now depends on your status.
How do Shakesquads rewards work?
When a member of your Shakesquad makes an eligible card purchase, you earn 10 sats per purchase.
What are the interest rates?
Your CAD balance earns interest based on your status:
Base: 1.5%
Bright: 2%
Blue: 3%
Business: 2%
Interest is paid in bitcoin.
What happens to my shake streak?
Your streak stays the same! Only your maximum daily sats changes depending on your status. So if you’ve been shaking for 500 days and you’re in Blue, your reward will grow toward the Blue max of 500 sats/day.
