What is an anti-phishing code?
An anti-phishing code is a unique set of characters that helps you verify that communications from our team are genuine, protecting you from phishing attempts. To confirm that an email is truly from us, simply find your personalized anti-phishing code and verify it in the app.
Where can I find the code?
You can locate your anti-phishing code at the end of any transactional email we send you. This code is specific to you, ensuring that only you and our team have access to it.
How do I verify my anti-phishing code in the app?
Check your email: Open an email from us and copy the anti-phishing code located at the bottom.
Navigate to the Settings section of the app:
Log into your Shakepay app and click on on "Settings" (⚙️ icon) at the bottom right corner
Click "Security & privacy"
Tap on “Anti-phishing code”
Enter the code: Paste your anti-phishing code in the designated field and press “Verify code.”
If the code matches our records, you’ll receive instant confirmation. You can also cross-check the email’s title and timestamps for further verification.
