How to deposit funds from a Simplii Financial account when you need to update your e-Transfer profile name

To update the e-Transfer profile nickname to your full legal name to match your Shakepay account please:

  1. Log into Simplii Financial Mobile App

  2. On the left hand side, click on Interac e-Transfer®

  3. Select Interac e-Transfer® Settings

  4. Click on Edit my profile

  5. Change your nickname to your first and last name

  6. Click on Save

Once this is done, you will need to send us a reminder on the e-Transfer so we can see that the name has been changed!

To send a reminder:

  1. On the left hand side, click on Interac e-Transfer®

  2. Click on Review History

  3. Select the actual e-Transfer to Shakepay and then send a reminder
