Where can I see my full transaction history and monthly statements on Shakepay?

You will find the steps to download your complete transaction history or monthly statement in this article!

If you want to see your past transactions, or file your taxes, you can download your transaction history or monthly statements.


View your transaction history in App

Follow these steps to download your transaction history in the app:

  1. Open the Shakepay app and log in.

  2. Click the Settings wheel at the bottom right.

  3. Click Account Settings.

  4. Click Request transaction history.

  5. Click Send.

Your transaction summary will be on its way!


View or download your monthly statement in the app

Follow these steps to view or download your monthly statements in the app:

  1. Open the Shakepay app and log in.

  2. Click the Settings wheel at the bottom right.

  3. Click Account Settings.

  4. Click Monthly Statements.

  5. Choose the year by tapping on it.

  6. Choose the month by tapping on it.

  7. Click the top right corner arrow to download or share it.

View your transaction history online

Follow these steps to download your transaction history on the website:

  1. Open the Shakepay website and log in.

  2. Go to the main Wallets page.

  3. Click Download history.

You'll then have your full transaction history in a CSV file download to your computer!


Troubleshoot and tips

Does Shakepay offer tax slips to produce a tax report?

We currently do not offer tax slips for tax purposes but we do have the transaction summary of your transactions which can be used to file your taxes.


How do I file my taxes for the crypto I bought and sold for a specific year?

For questions related to declaring cryptocurrency and filing taxes, we always recommend consulting a tax professional or accountant.

According to the Government of Canada guide for cryptocurrency users & tax professionals, possessing or holding a cryptocurrency is not taxable. However, there could be tax consequences for selling, exchanging, gifting or making purchases with cryptocurrency. You can find more info on this in the guide linked above!
