How to enable or disable emails for crypto withdrawals?

Email confirmations for crypto withdrawals are automatically enabled to enhance account security.

Whenever you withdraw Bitcoin or Ethereum, you'll need to authorize the transaction through a confirmation email. Please follow the steps below to enable or disable email confirmations:

  1. In the Shakepay app, click on on "Settings" (⚙️ icon) on the lower right corner

  2. Click "Security & Privacy"

  3. Toggle "Email confirmations" on or off

    • If this feature is enabled, ensure you click the link in the email to confirm the withdrawal; otherwise, the transaction will not proceed.

Note: If you request to disable this feature, it may take up to 3 days for the change to take effect.
